The wedding photography checklist helps capture those essential details of the marriage ceremony, which you wish to preserve for your benefit and for also showing it with pride to those, who could not attend the wedding or to your future children and grandchildren. The photography checklist helps you understand traditional photographic work flow. Though many other pictures will be shot during the wedding, some as noted below are a strict must; these are the ones to be included in the checklist. While giving the checklist to the photographer you must point out your parents, sisters, brothers, etc. to him.

Wedding photography checklist for the bride consists of the following musts: dressing for ceremony, wedding dress lying over a chair; zipping up or buttoning the wedding dress; bride's mother fastening the bride's necklace; full-length photo of bride by herself; full length photo of bride with mother/father separately and together; photo of bride with the following separately: sisters, brothers, grandparents, ring bearer, flower girl, maid of honor, and attendants.

Posed and candid photos of the receiving line, guests and bridal party, both bride and the groom cutting wedding cake and feeding each other, the best man toasting newlyweds, newlyweds talking to the guests, musicians engaged, dancing of newlyweds, guests dancing and newlyweds getting into the car with "Just married" placard and then a photo freeze showing rear of the car speeding away.
